Dodge Lancer style hubcaps are popular hubcaps for 1950s customs. The hubcaps are available through Amazon.com, and a set of four starts at $225.99. Check price and availability on Amazon.com.
Bill Peterson's 1932 Ford Roadster of Portland, Oregon. The roadster was built by Bill and Dee Wescot in 1955. Once completed, the roadster won the 1956 Portland Roadster Show, becoming the first Sweepstakes Winner of the show.
Ron Guidry's 1936 Ford 5-Window Coupe
Manuel Gonzalez's 1940 Ford Coupe of Wilmington, California. Gonzalez was a member of the Pharaohs of Wilmington car club, and in 1956 his coupe received a flame paint job by Von Dutch. The same year it was featured in Car Craft October 1956 running Dodge Lancer hubcaps.
Jerry Silvester's 1950 Ford of Inglewood, California. Jerry's Ford was restyled by Alex & West Body Shop circa 1957. It ran Lancer hubcaps.
John Rae's 1951 Ford of Kenilworth, New Jersey. John bought the car from Hanover, New Jersey in 1962. It had already been customized when he got it, featuring Dodge Lancer hubcaps.
Bill Burnett's 1955 Ford Crown Victoria was restyled around 1955/1956.
Gary Ruddell's 1955 Pontiac. Gary was the President of the Seagrams of Norwalk car club, and the Pontiac was his first car. He bought it in 1959 and began restyling it shortly thereafter. It was dressed up with dual dummy spotlights and Dodge Lancer hubcaps.
George Jezek's 1949 Chevrolet 2-Door Sedan of West, Texas. Jezek was a local pinstriper and a founding member of the Eliminators of West car club. Known as The Candy Cart, Jezek's Chevrolet went through several modifications during the late 1950s and the 1960s. This photo shows how it appeared around 1960, after Jezek had installed Lakes Pipes and Dodge Lancer hubcaps.
Lyle Mason's 1956 Chevrolet of Ogden, Utah. Lyle ran Lancer hubcaps on his custom.
Mitchell de Moor's 1956 Ford Customline of Toronto, Ontarioa, Canada. The first version of Mitchell's Ford was completed in 2012 featuring Lancer hubcaps.
Carl Swenson's 1957 Chevrolet as it appeared in 1958, featuring Lancer hubcaps.
Dick Jackson's 1957 Ford of Compton, California was restyled late in 1956 or early in 1957. Dick, who started out at Barris Kustoms ran his own shop Advanced Custom Paints in Compton, California when the Ford was restyled. Dick ran Lancer hubcaps on the Ford.
Scotty Berguson's 1957 Ford Ranch Wagon of California was restyled in 1958.
