Popular Customs Winter Issue 1963
Bob Nordskog's 1963 Chevrolet Corvette, The Asteroid, was restyled by Barris Kustoms in 1963.
Jerry DeVito's 1957 Ford Fairlane of San Jose, California. The second version of Jerry's Ford, known as the Maze, was completed in 1958, featuring a radical scallop paint job by Bob Heinrichs. Jerry was a member of the San Jose Rod and Wheelers car club.
Harry Costa's 1941 Ford Convertible of San Francisco, California was restyled between 1953 and 1956. Harry, who was a member of the San Francisco Pacers, did most of the work himself.
Bill Haddad's 1951 Chevrolet. Bill bought the car car from Richard Torres of Lawndale, California. After buying it, Bill had Larry Watson of Watson House of Style give it a panel paint job. Named "The Blue Ribbon," this iteration of the car was featured in Popular Customs Winter Issue 1963.
Larry Hughes 1926 Ford Model T roadster pick up of Boulder, Colorado. Built in the 1960s, Larry's finned hot rod was known as the "The Bomber"
The Car Craft Dream Rod was built by Bill Cushenbery for Bob Larivee of Promotions Inc. The first drawings of the car appeared in Car Craft October 1961. The build was completed late in 1963.
Harry Hoskin's 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air of Maricopa, California. Restyled by Barris Kustoms, the car went trough several iterations. The first version was completed in 1955.
