Bill and Bob Glazier's 1953 Oldsmobile Super 88 Convertible - The Candy Wagon. Old custom originally restyled by
Barris Kustoms for the Glazier brothers from
North Bend,
Washington. John and Bill purchased the car in
1956 and brought it to
Barris Kustoms in
1958, where
George Barris and
Dean Jeffries collaborated on the design. Emerging from the
Lynwood shop in
Candy Apple Red with custom
scallops and
pinstriping, the car featured numerous standout modifications. These included extended fenders with
stacked quad headlights, a
continental kit with a molded gravel shield, and extended rear fenders housing four
1956 Packard taillights. Additional touches like a narrowed
1954 Chevrolet grille bar, shaved hood with 96
louvers, and a lowered stance completed the custom look. In June of
2024, the car resurfaced for sale on
Hemmings, listed by the sons of one of the original owners.
Chip Foose later helped the brother promote and restore it, aiming to preserve and honor its
Barris Kustom legacy. The Oldsmobile was relisted in November
2024 with an asking price of $500,000.

Sean Mason's 1950 Ford Custom - Restyled by
Masterson Kustom Automobiles for
Sean Mason, this
1950 Ford is a subtle yet classic example of
Southern California custom culture. The project was a collaborative effort between Sean and his brother,
Jay "Catfish" Mason, a photographer who documented hot rods and the custom lifestyle.
Brad Masterson was enlisted to execute the bodywork, ensuring mild but authentic modifications. After Jay’s passing in
2017, the car remained unfinished for several years. In
2023, Sean sold it to
Stef Butler, Vice President of the
Valley Relics Museum, who restored the car mechanically and added personal touches. Located in
Granada Hills,
California, this custom Ford is now listed for auction on Bring a Trailer. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of modern custom history.

Stephen Kidani's 1954 Mercury Monterey. Old custom originally restyled by
Barris Kustoms back in the
1950s. Stephen bought the car from the original owner. When he got the car, it featured a
nosed hood, a shaved deck,
frenched headlights,
frenched dual antennas, custom taillights, stainless door trim adapted from a Lincoln, and side scoop molding trim. Inside, the old custom had been dressed up with
pinstriping by
Von Dutch on the dash and above the door trim. When Stephen bought the car, the original owner mentioned that Martinez had done the interior. Stephen received a "Certificate of Authenticity" from
Barris Kustom Industries in March of
2006. Located in
Huntington Beach,
California, the old custom was advertised for sale on
Craigslist in January of
2023. At the time, it wasn't running, and it needed an interior and finish up. The price was set to

1940 Mercury Convertible Sedan. Historic build. Offered for sale for the first time in 61 years. Runs (sweet) and "yard drives." The seller has no history prior to it being put in storage in
San Jose,
California in
1961. Rumored to have some connection to the actor
Errol Flynn, but nothing to confirm this. These are very rare cars, to begin with (less than 1000 produced), but what makes this car somewhat special is the
HALL (

California)
padded lift off top. Easy project to make a kool driver as is, or use your imagination. The seller has the title in hand, and he is happy to help with transport and shipping if required. Located in
