Palle Eriksson's 1924 Chevrolet roadster. The first version of Palle's rod was shown at the 1965 Hot Rod Show in Stockholm.

Per-Erik "Palle" Eriksson (b. 1943) of Stockholm, Sweden. Palle lived in Västerhaninge, and belonged to the second generation of Swedish hot rodders.
His father, David Eriksson, ran a successful company called 'X-tegel' located in Vendelsö.
In the early 1960s, Palle bought a cheap 1928 Harley-Davidson 750cc with a sidecar to play around with. He got in contact with other motor gangs rising south of Stockholm area.

Unfortunately not having a driving license, so his approval for a car license was postponed one year, after a police control.

In 1962, he swapped the Harley for a complete windshield from an early Ford, together with some other parts. The intention was of course now to build a Hot Rod!

He welded the frame from scratch and used body pieces from three different Chevrolet bodies, mainly 1924.

He moved to Florida, USA in the late 60s and started a car dealer company Ericsson & Meyer.
