1959 Chevrolet El Camino restyled by Bill Ortega for Fred LeFevre of Oildale, California. Up front, the headlights were frenched and the grille shell was molded and fit with a 1960 Mercury grille. The stock air scoops located on the fenders and hood were filled to achieve a cleaner look. Four 1959 Cadillac taillights were backed up with perforated metal, and the rear license plate was molded. The car was lowered by cutting the coils. Dodge hubcaps, dual spotlights and side pipes were installed.[1] The car was painted by Larry Watson of Watson's House of Style in Pearl Yellow with Lime Green scalloping. Shortly after the car was featured in Custom Cars July 1960, Fred sold it to his brother Ron LeFevre.[2]
