Bill Like's 1932 Ford

1932 Ford Roadster owned by Bill Likes. Bob Cass did all of the bodywork for Bill. Bob trimmed the leading edge of the front fenders 3 inches, and the trailing edge of the rear fender 4 inches. Cowl vent and radiator shell were filled. The car was modified with Pontiac taillights, and 1949 Chevrolet Pick Up front and rear bumper. The car was powered by a 1949 Ford mill hoped up with Edelbrock 8:1 heads, Mallory distributor, two 1949 Ford truck carburetors and dual headers. The front axle was dropped and fitted with 1946 Ford spindles and hydraulic brakes. Rear end was 1934 Ford using 4.11 gears. Rear spring was stock with eyes reversed. Steering gear was 1934 Ford 15:1. Inside the car was upholstered in blue plastic by Neil Thuresson. Unusual instruments included tachometer and water temprature gauges for each head.[1]
