"I purchased the engine and trans earlier on Craigslist," Kristick told Kustomrama in April of 2023. "Then the car after the previous owner stopped the restoration process six months ago." According to Kristick, the Buick 322 engine is beyond rebuild. "I have a 1952 331 Cadillac engine from a '60 B/Gas drag car that I plan on installing. Lost & Found - 1934 Ford

1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe owned by Walter Kristick of Greensboro, North Carolina. In February of 2023, Kristick had just purchased the coupe, and he was restoring the car, hunting for any information about its history. "I purchased the engine and trans earlier on Craigslist," Kristick told Kustomrama in April of 2023. "Then the car after the previous owner stopped the restoration process six months ago." Kristick purchased the vehicle in North Carolina. Before that, the car's history can be traced back to a purchase in Tennessee around 2014. Nailhead Power

When Kristick bought the Coupe, it featured remains of a Candy Red paint job with faded gold pinstriping on top of the headlights and below the rear 1940 Ford taillights. It ran shaved doors with poppers on the running boards, a shaved trunk handle, and the fuel filler relocated inside the trunk. Ford starter solenoids activated the door and trunk poppers. It appeared to have headlights from a 1936 Ford, and the hood and grille were stock. Inside, it had been dressed up with a custom interior and chromed garnish trim. The car's engine, a 1954 Buick 322 Nailhead, had been removed for rebuilding. Other features included a 1937 Buick floor shift transmission with an Oldsmobile open tail shaft and a rear axle from a 1950 Oldsmobile. "The Buick 322 engine is beyond rebuild.
