Var Martin's 1941 Buick
1941 Buick Club Coupe, restyled by Barris Kustoms for Var Martin. The rear quarter windows were filled, and the top was chopped 3,5 inches in front and 5 inches in the back. Barris created and installed full Fadeaway Fenders from scratch to achieve a longer and smoother look. Up front George Barris installed a 1947 Cadillac grille. Front and rear bumpers were taken from a 1947 Oldsmobile. The interior was upholstered by Runyan interior. The car was nosed and decked and all the handles were removed. The fenders were molded-in and the headlights were frenched. Smooth hubcaps on white walls and fender skirts wrapped up the style.
