Per Sjøvall's 1957 Chevrolet
1957 Chevrolet 2-door hardtop owned and restyled by Per Sjøvall of Oslo, Norway. Being a teenager in the 1960s, Per used to hang out at Youngstorget in Oslo. Around 1967 - 1968, his Chevrolet was fit with a 1957 Buick grille and a 1959 Chevrolet dashboard and steering wheel. The sidetrim was also shortened, and the doors were shaved for door handles. Inside, the door panels were made from black leather, and they featured Playboy bunny's made from nails. Per was not a member of Nor-Way Custom, a hot rod and custom car club established in Oslo in 1967.
In the 1970s the car was owned by Aage Kristiansen and Lasse Anundsen of Oslo. Aage and Lasse built the mild custom into a drag racer, and they raced the Chevrolet in Sweden and Norway in the 1970s. The first race the car was entered in was the 1973 race at Mantorp.
