1959 Chevrolet Impala owned by car dealershipment Leonard's Chevrolet in Compton, California. It was one of the first 1959 Chevrolet Impala to go under the custom torch. The car was radically lowered and fit with a custom grille made from numerous 1954 Chevrolet grille bar teeth. The headlights rims were anodized and a lot of unnecessary chrome was removed from the front end to give it a clean look. The insert in the hood scoops were removed and an additional trim spear was added to the rear fenders, a very popular 59' Chevy fad. The taillight rings were anodized as well. Two Volkswagen directional lights were installed beneath the front bumper. Custom three-bladed wheel discs almost similar to Dodge Lancer hubcaps were added. The car was painted Black.[1]
