Kent Lee's 1941 Ford
1941 Ford convertible owned by Falcons of Salt Lake City member Kent Lee. In 1957, when Keith Hunt joined the club, Kent's Ford was solely a custom. He later morphed it into a drag racing machine. According to Keith, Kent's Ford was near perfect; "I remember at the 1957 - 1958 Salt Kings Review in Ogden the judges were on their hands and knees examining inside the his wheel wells which were all fully finished the same as the exterior of the car. That is commonplace today but was unheard of in Utah at that time. Every detail of the car was perfect. My car took second place in convertible, to Kent's first place. He also received the best car in show award. I felt giddy at receiving second place to his car. And, we kept it in the Falcon family. "[1]
