Jon Enberg's 1957 Ford
1957 Ford restyled by Furtado's Body Shop for Modesto Century Toppers member Jon Enberg of Modesto, California. Both rear and front pans were rolled, the front license plate was recessed in the center of the front pan. A The front end was simplified by adding a tubular grille and frenched headlights fit with 1956 Ford Pickup headlight rims. Two Buick portholes were integrated in the shaved hood. The deck lid and door handles were removed to achieve a cleaner appearance. The taillights were modified by mounting stock lenses on a concave white frosted concave plastic lenses. The car was lowered by cutting the coils in front with rubber spacers between the coils. Lowering blocks were mounted in the rear. Once the bodywork was completed, it was painted pearl transluccent white lacquer with Kandy red scallops.
