Harald Sannum

Harald Sannum's 1959 Chevrolet Impala was restyled in 1965, and it is known as one of the first full custom cars of Norway.

Harald Sannum of Trondheim, Norway is an early Norwegian custom pioneer. He was active in the US-car scene in Trondheim in the 1960s, and his first car was a 1957 Ford station wagon that he bought in 1962. Two 1958 Chevrolet station wagons followed, before Harald in 1963 bought a 1959 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hardtop. In the Autumn of 1965 Harald began to customize the Impala, which would evolve into becoming one of the first full custom cars of Norway.

As so many other Norwegian enthusiasts, Harald focused on drag racing instead of customizing in the 1970s.
