1950 Oldsmobile 88 Owned by Hal Baud of San Francisco, California. The sleek appearance of Hal's Olds was achieved by nosing, decking and removal of door handles. The headlights were frenched, and the taillights were removed and replaced by small motorcycle units installed on the bumper guards. The body was painted maroon. The car was lowered by cutting away a section of the coil springs at each wheel. Engine parts and all the interior molding were chrome-plated. The floor mats were changed to match the new maroon exterior finish.[1]
