The car was nosed and decked. The door and trunk handles were shaved and the headlights were frenched. The parking lights and embles were removed. 1949 Cadillac rear quarter panels were spliced and molded to the body. The stock grille was reshaped in able to accept the 1949 Cadillac grille. To push the Cadillac appearance even further, Barris installed 1949 Cadillac bumpers with exhaust outlets to the car.
