Emperors of Seattle
The Emperors was a car club from Seattle, Washington. The club was formed in 1951, and in 1956 it counted 16 members and four applicants. Wes Coppage was the President of the club in 1956. At the time, the club was a NHRA charter club.
Public Car Check
Sunday, December 1, 1956 the Emperors planned to host a public car check. A newspaper clipping about the check informed that the members hoped that the Northgate truck tunnel would be available for the members' cars as well as anyone else who would like their car checked for winter driving.
