Colorod was a Swedish rod and custom magazine between 1970 to 1983 started by Bo "Gamen" Sandberg. Bo, who also operated Yankee Custom Parts at the time ran the magazine from his shop in Älvsjö, Sweden.

Bosse thought Start & Speed had too much focus on Dragracing and there was a need for a magazine with Customs, Hot Rods and Choppers with more photos and less text.

The magazine had several editors and contributors. For example Sture Torngren, Bo Bertilsson, Bengt W-lind and Staffan Runhag.
