W. L. Anderson was a member of the Wheelers car club. In 1944 he wrote the SCTA News telling them that SCTA News made him more homesick than any letter, and that there was nothing in the world that would ever take the place of Lakes Meet in his heart, and that he would give anything to be pushing the old Cragar trough the traps again. Anderson's letter was published in SCTA News December 1944.[1]
