Von Hunter's 1957 Plymouth
1957 Plymouth restyled by Von Hunter of Portland, Oregon. The handles, trim and emblems were removed. 1958 Chevrolet headlights were mounted. Hunter made a custom grille, using round rods. The lower grille section was louvered. The body was lowere 7 inches in the front and 5 inches in the aft. Lake plugs were added in order to give it a lower appearance. The finns were capped and modified with small scoops with chrome teeths inserted. The stock taillights were replaced by 1957 Chrysler units. The body was painted in black lacquer once completed.[1]
