1939 Mercury coupe originally owned by Jani Huhtamäki of Tuusula, Finland. Jussi Luntamo helped Jani chop the top on the Mercury in 2016. In order to get the desired shape on the side window, they made a 1:1 photo of Kevan Sledge's 1940 Mercury. During the chop the bottom edge of the windshield was dropped 1 inch. The A-pillars were taken 4 inches and the rear of the roof was dropped 5.5 inches. Jani and Jussi chopped three 1939 Mercurys during 2016 and 2017. This was the first one they chopped. Jani bought this one and another from the same seller.[1]
