USFRA
USFRA: Utah Salt Flats Racing Association. A Utah-based group of Land Speed Racing enthusiasts that sanctions an annual speed trials event called World of Speed on the Bonneville Salt Flats in September. USFRA uses SCTA rules and class designations, although two separate classes for those who prefer to race a street car or a vehicle that isn't covered in the SCTA rule book. These classes (130 mph club and 150 mph club) are defined on the USFRA website. As an extension to the 130 Club, several specialty classes are defined: battery-powered Bar Stools, the 36 HP Challenge: a class where type 111 or 113 stock Volkswagen Beetles compete with several different engine divisions and a class for Go Karts. Records for these specialty classes can also be found on the USFRA website.
In addition to the SCTA rules, records set at World of Speed are recognized by SCTA. However, neither sanctioning bodies' records are recognized by the FIA or FIM.
