The Stousland Special is a Nordic Special Racer owned and raced by Carl Jacob Stousland. The body for the Stousland Special was built by Greger Strøm at Norsk Flyindustri at Fornebu, just outside of Oslo. The body was built next to Ralph Lysell's Rally Special, and the build was completed in the summer of 1951. Carl Jacob was a pilot during WWII. After the war he worked for SAS, flying back and forth to the United States. During one of his visits in the US, Carl bought a pair of Ardun OHV heads that he brought back with him to Norway. The heads were installed on the Stousland Special.[1]

Jack Stenslet restored the old racer. In 2012 it was owned by Norwegian collector Eirik Bøle.
