Stuart Hilborn's 1932 Ford
Stuart Hilborn ran this 1932 Ford Roadster in the 1941 S.C.T.A. season as car no. 305. On Dec. 7 he bought his now famous streamliner from Bill Warth but didn't have it done for the first S.C.T.A. meet in May of 1942 so he didn't run. In June he ran as an Unlimited wearing the no. 90 and in July he debuted the new V8 powered liner as no. 90. The engine in this photo isn't the Eddie Miller 21 stud flathead that he ran in 1941 or that went into the liner and so it might of been a borrowed "big one" to get him in the unlimited class. In any event Stu ran 134.73 mph.[1]
