1955 Chevrolet Bel air owned by Dresdens member Sharon Warner of Fremont, California. The Moeller Brothers of San Lorenzo, California helped Sharon with the build. The parking lights were frenched and the hood was nosed. The bumper was smoothed and Mercury bumper guards were adapted. A Corvette grille was inserted in the stock grille shell. Air scoops were made on the hood and scalloped by Tommy the Greek. All the chrome trim were removed and the holes were filled. The deck lid had to peaks worked-in. The extended rear fenders housed a pair of frenched 1956 Lincoln taillights. A 1955 Pontiac split bumper replaced the old one piece stock unit. Dual spotlights and chromed reversed wheels with small hubcaps attached were installed to ad look. The 1957 DeSoto side trim seperated the two-tone paint job consisting the white and gold lacquer. The car was Dagoed 7 inches and lowered 6 inches. Lakes plugs were added to give it a lower appearance. The interior was done by Sharon and fellow club members of the Dresdens. This was their first attempt of upholstering. It was done in pleated white and gold naugahyde. Custom carpets were used.[1]


In February 1958, Sharon's Bel Air was shown at the 9th annual National Roadster Show. The car was entered in the Hard Top Convertibles class, and it won an award for best car in its class.[2]
