1961 Pontiac Bonneville convertible owned by San Fernando Valley Illusions member Sandy Gordon of Arleta, Los Angeles, California, a part of the San Fernando Valley. Sandy was a founding member of the San Fernando Valley Illusions, and his Bonneville featured as so many other club cars a custom paint job by Joe Andersen of Joe Andersen's Custom Shop. Sandy had Joe paint the car in a pearl apricot color with fadeaway effect during the summer of 1965. Dick & Ron's installed hydraulics up front so sandy could adjust the ride height while cruising. On a photo dated May 1967, Sandy's Bonneville rolled on Astro Supreme wheels with thin white line tires.[1]
