Russ' Thunderbird as it appeared in the souvenir pictorial from the 1960 Hartford Autorama.

1955 Ford Thunderbird owned and restyled by Russ Meacham of Vernon, Connecticut. Russ' Thunderbird was wrecked, rebuilt to original, and then customized. A new grille opening was made from 1959 Plymouth scoop panels. New quarters were used to form the custom built rear of the car. Russ kept the engine and chassis stock, but droppe the car 2 inches. In 1960 it was shown at Hartford Autorama, and in the souvenir pictorial from the show, the car was advertised for sale.[1]
