Roy Aldrich
Roy Aldrich was a member of the Hornets car club. In 1944 Roy was sweating it out in India, drawing plans for a better job to run at the lakes, while laboring over B29's. He wrote the SCTA News to tell about his plans, and to tell the readers of the newsletter that it was so hot down there that a fellow GI who brought his girl a pair of slik p.j.'s wore them himself. Roy's letter was published in SCTA News December 1944.[1]
