Art Tremaine's 1929 Ford Model A Roadster of Whittier, California. Art was a member of the Strokers of Whittier car club and his roadster was built in the late 1940s. Art ran Ripple Disc Hubcaps without Flippers on his roadster.

In the 1940s you could buy Ripple Disc Hubcaps with or without flippers, and Dick Noble told his son Richard "Nobey" Noble that that's the way the guys would say; "I have ripple discs with flippers."
