1957 Buick customized by Squeeg's Kustom in Mesa, Arizona for Rick Dore of California. The car was nosed, decked and shaved for door handles to achieve a cleaner appearance. The top was chopped 3 inches, a hard task to do with the panorama windshield. 1956 Packard taillights were frenched to the Buick fenders, and the headlights were extended and frenched as well. The portholes were filled as well. Dore had the frame cut by the firewall, and a Nova frontclip plus a Chevy 350 engine and trans were installed. Once the bodywork was done, it was painted in a two-tone color scheme of candy and pearl Lavender. The interior was made by Eddie Salcido in Tucson, Arizona. Rick wanted a high quality interior, and Eddie was the right man to go to. The seats were from a T-Bird, reupholstered in white and wine red leather. The Lavender Persuasion made its debut at the Grand National Roadster Show 1993.[1]
