René Molé was a pinstriper from Oakland, California. He started out working in downtown Oakland, then in east Oakland before eventually moving to San Leandro. René operated paint and body shops, and did not work full time as a pinstriper. One of the more notable cars René painted was Bill Carash's Roadster. René did also stripe red fire engines with gold leaf. René had a brother named George that was an excellent body man.[1]
