A photo of Raymond with his "1954 Barracuda" sports car. We believe this is the same car as the X-1.
In 1954 Raymond built the Excalibur J for Brooks Stevens.
Raymond built Steve Stevens' 1956 Ford Crown Victoria. The car was a father-son project between Brooks Stevens and his son Steve.

Raymond Besasie of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Raymond ran Besasie Engineering, and in 1954 he built the Excalibur J for Brooks Stevens.[1] Raymond did also build the prototype for the Excalibur's that were built in Milwaukee from 1965-1986.[2]
