Norman Kopp's 1932 Chevrolet
1932 Chevrolet two door sedan owned by Road Gents of Beloit member Norman Kopp of Beloit, Wisconsin. Norman bought the car in 1957 when he was a sophmore in high school. "Actually I bought two 1932 Chevys because the owner insisted I buy them both," Norman told Kustomrama.It was dark green with a corduroy interior when Norman got it. "I also bought a 1952 Oldsmobile Rocket 88. Then under the direction of my brother I transferred the engine, transmission, rear end and steering gear to the Chevy. Finally, with constant work and little money, parts were found by roaming the junk yards, it was completed to be reliable transportation to work and college." Once completed, it was dressed up with an Oldsmobile steering wheel, chromed headlights, chromed hood dors, and Moon discs.[1]
Sold
In 1962 Norman sold the Chevrolet to a fellow from Madison, Wisconsin.[1]
Where is it Now?
Norman Kopp is currently trying to locate his old high school hot rod. The person he sold it to, can't remember who he sold it to. But he remembers that the guy who moved to Florida.
