New England Dragway, located at 280 Exeter Rd., in Epping, New Hampshire, is a hub for high-octane motorsport in the northeastern United States.[1]
The Track
The dragway features a quarter-mile long concrete track, boasting a surface that runs 1,320 feet in length, the standard distance for drag racing. The total length of the track, including the shutdown area, extends to 4,000 feet. The width of the quarter-mile stretch is 60 feet, which continues to be the same at the shutdown area. The track sits 90 feet above sea level, and its timing system is powered by a fiber-optic Compulink StarTrak III1.[1]
