1930 Ford Model A Tudor owned and restyled by Michael Brown of Fostoria, Ohio. The build began in the early 1960s, while Brown was still in high school, and it reflects the experimental spirit of the period’s hot rod and custom car scene.[1]

Like many teenagers of the era, Brown envisioned transforming the Model A into a radical custom, combining traditional hot rod modifications with unique styling cues. By 1964, the Ford had undergone several custom modifications. The car was channeled over the frame for a lower stance, and the front end was reshaped with hand-formed panels that gave it a futuristic, show-car-inspired look. The rear fenders were molded into the body, and the sedan’s rear panel was altered to flow into a custom roll pan. Larger rear tires and reversed steel wheels contributed to its aggressive appearance.[1]

Under the hood, the car received a V8 engine fitted with multiple carburetors, visible in period photos. At some point during the build, Brown replaced the Tudor’s original roof with a station wagon top, giving the car a distinctive, one-off silhouette. Brown’s ambitious custom project was never completed. In 1965, before leaving to enlist in the Air Force, he sold the unfinished sedan. The final whereabouts of the car remain unknown.[1]
