Les Miller's 1952 Packard
1952 Packard restyled by Mark Wojcik for Les Miller in the early 1980s. Les Packard was a stock 4 door sedan. Mark did a mild custom job on it, and the car was nosed, decked and shaved for handles. It received a tunneled antenna, before it was brought to the ground and painted in Chrysler Laser Red pearl. Subtle scallops were applied by mixing pearl white into the red color. A few years later Les had someone put a subframe on it along with a Smallblock Chevrolet engine and a narrowed Pro Street rear end. He then had Mark Wojcik weld up the rear doors, chop the top, add a Dodge back window and move the roof forward to make it look a coupe. This version received a Yellow/Orange Pearl fadeaway paintjob with raspberry candy flames. The 350 engine was removed and replaced with a Bill Mitchell racing engine with fuel injection. The dash and interior trim was painted Candy Raspberry as well. During the second restyling the owner moved to Florida, and Mark had the car shipped down when he completed the build.[1]
