Ulf and Mari Kusendal's 1950 Mercury of Kvissleby, Sweden. Blending American roots with Scandinavian craftsmanship, Ulf and Mari Kusendal's 1950 Mercury, known as Hysteria, has evolved from a 1960s-built U.S. custom into one of Sweden’s most celebrated show cars in 2025. Acquired in 2001, the Mercury served as a family hauler for nearly 90,000 km before undergoing a full rebuild beginning in 2019. Completed just hours before its debut at the 2025 Custom Motor Show in Jönköping, Hysteria stunned judges and was crowned Sveriges Snyggaste Bil 2025. The car also swept top honors at the 2025 Oslo Motor Show, including Skandinavias Flotteste Bil.
