Arctic Sand as it appeared when it was featured in Motor Life May 1957.

1946 Ford coupe restyled by Clarkaiser Custom Shop for Kenneth Peterson of Pontiac, Michigan. Known as Artic Sand, the top on Kenneth's coupe was chopped 4 inches up front, and 6 inches in the rear. Up front, the car featured an unique grille-headlight, and bumper treatment that highlighted the front end while simulated grillework effect was introduced across the rear deck lid, tying the tail lights together visually.[1]
