1934 Ford Roadster owned by Dearborn Custom Auto Club member John Patterson of Dearborn, Michigan. John ran his roadster without front fenders. According to The Hot Rods of Dearborn webpage, the molded rear fenders were said to be made out of two 1940 Ford rear fenders welded together on each side. The taillights were relocated to the bumper above the license plate, and the car was with wit a padded top and Sombrero type hubcaps. On a photo taken at the Carlton, Michigan Naval Air Station during the summer of 1952 a stripped down version of the car can be seen without the padded top, hood sides and Sombrero type hubcaps. This version has also an extended front and a scooped hood.[1]
