John Day's Model T Roadster
Ford Model T roadster owned and restyled by Lobes of Salt Lake City member John Day of Salt Lake City, Utah. Known as "Mr. Lucky"[1], the finned bed on John's roadster was fit with 1958 - 1959 Ford Thunderbird taillights. The body was painted white with fogged lavender panels. It was loaded with chrome. The interior was sparse, and it featured a safety wheel, three gauges, and a chromed shifter topped with a piston shift knob. Power came from a blown Chevrolet engine.[2]
In 1962 John's roadster was shown at the Winternationals in California.
