Jean-Daniel "Momo" Mottier of Geneva, Switzerland is a founding member of The Crazy Cruisers car club. His passion for cars and the Kustom culture began at a young age and has been a driving force in his life.

Born in 1968, Momo's fascination with cars began in 1985 when he was just 17 years old. In his own words, "In my neighborhood, there were two 1961 Chevrolet Impalas, which had been lying around for a long time without moving. I bought one of the two to redo it as best I could." His inspiration was drawn from the film American Graffiti, especially a scene featuring a 1959 or 1960 GM car cruising past a diner.

Momo's passion didn't stop with just one car. He delved deeper into the world of traditional Kustoms, admiring the work of Larry Watson and his Bellflower Style creations. By 1988, he and two close friends, all enthusiasts of Rock n' Roll and Rockabilly, decided to establish their own car club in Geneva, named the "Crazy Cruisers." Jean-Daniel reminisced, "Our motivation: the fifties, Grease in the Hair and modified Teenagers' cars with their cast Aluminum Car Club plaque attached to the rear bumper."

The Crazy Cruisers were inspired by the traditional Kustom movement, which saw a revival in the early 1980s by the KKOA in the USA. Over the years, the club has had to adapt to Switzerland's strict car modification laws, leading to a shift towards traditional Mild Customs rather than pure Kustom-treated Leadsleds. However, the spirit remains unchanged. As Momo put it, "We still have the same motivation, no high tech at home, only Traditional."

Jean-Daniel has worked on numerous cars throughout his journey, always collaborating with friends, bodybuilders, painters, and interior upholsterers.
