In 2019 Hetfield donated Slow Burn and 9 other cars to the Petersen Automotive Museum where it will be displayed among other Metallica memorabilia. Photo courtesy of the Petersen Automotive Museum.

1936 Auburn Speedster custom owned by Metallica frontman and Beatniks car club member James Hetfield of San Francisco, California. The build was completed in 2010 making its debut at the 2010 Grand National Roadster Show.

Donated to the Petersen Automotive Museum

In 2019 Hetfield donated Slow Burn and 9 other cars to the Petersen Automotive Museum where it will be displayed among other Metallica memorabilia. The Hetfield collection will go on display starting in February 2020.[1]
