Jack Williams' 1949 Ford Four-Door
1949 Ford Four-Door owned and built by Jack Williams of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Jack bought the car brand new, took it home, and began to chop the top.[1]
In December of 2023, Dave Willis told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama that he believed he saw Jack's Ford on a used car lot in Port Alberni in the mid 1950s, "with a stock flat head engine and was in primer with red paint below the Buick side trim. It wasn't there long, and ended up in Victoria." Dave took pictures of it in all its glory at a car show in Vancouver in 1955, so he knew it well.[1]
