The Hollywood Trim kit advertised for sale in a Newhouse Automotive Industries catalog from 1949.

The Hollywood Trim styling kit consisted of four chrome plated shields, and two chrome plated rails that were made to modernize your 1940 and earlier automobile. By removing the running boards, and installing the Hollywood Trim kit you could modernize your car for a reasonable price. The shields and rails were shaped to fit the contour of the body.
