In 2014 the car was owned by John Deren of New Jersey. When John got the car, it had an early 1940s running gear and a 59A Mercury engine with a Potvin 425 that Harold installed. In order to make it more streetable, John installed a 4 deuce Stromberg Schnell intake, Evans head and a 3/4 race cam.[1]
