1960 Ford Starliner owned by Seagrams of Norwalk car club member Gary Ruddell of Norwalk, California. After selling a mildly restyled 1955 Pontiac circa 1960, Gary bought a 1958 Chevrolet Corvette. In 2018 Gary told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama that the Corvette was a great car for meeting girls, but taking them to a drive-in movie or parking on a hill overlooking the city lights just didn't work; "so I needed to get another car. The one I chose was a 1960 Ford Starliner. I liked the clean lines and I could afford it. The first thing I did was to drop it to the ground. A pack of cigarettes on edge would barely pass between the frame and the road. The result was three tickets in one day for being too low with many more to follow. The next thing was to remove all the badging and the door handles. To open the door you would push one of the round buttons on the rear post. I then installed a 45 record player under the dash. Now going to the movies or parking somewhere with your girlfriend worked out better." Gary's Starliner was painted Orchid Gray.[1]
