Eugene Riggs' 1953 Studebaker

1953 Studebaker owned by Eugene Riggs of Davis, California. All body joints were filled in and welded to achieve a cleaner looking body. A custom made grille was made and the headlights were frenched. The rear end featured a continental kit molded in to it. A polarized detachable plastic top was fit. It featured a special instrument panel with all new instruments installed. The interior was done in black and white leather. The luggage compartment was padded with black and white leather. The engine was chromed and gold with red block and was equipped with Morgan heads, Mallory ignition, four-throat carburetor. It was polished inside, ported and relieved, and featured special designed roller tappets. The engine compartment was finished in black lacquer.[2]
