1951 Chevrolet Bel-Air two-door hardtop owned and restyled by Ed Biggs of Davenport, Idaho. Ed traded the Chevrolet for a 1956 DeSoto in September 1955, and it was his driver all through high-school. The car was bought new by an older woman who never drove it on the snow. It had been maintained by the local Chevrolet dealer, and had low miles when Ed got it. It was sagging in the rear though, so Ed installed new springs on the car. The new springs set the car high in the rear, so Ed installed a set of 4 inch lowering blocks in order to get the car down in the ass. The car was further shaved, decked and fit with 1956 Plymouth hubcaps. It was yellow with a black top. Ed sold the Chevy in 1959 before joining the USAF. He sold it to an older fellow who drove it every day.[1]
