1950 Chevrolet Convertible restyled by Don Wells of Whittier, California. Do restyled the car by shaving the hood and deck. Many chrome rills in the grille were removed. The stock Chevrolet windshield was replaced with a one-piece Oldsmobile glass. The car was painted with 15 coats of black lacquer. Don installed green lights in all the ashtrays. He also installed a 110-volt A.C. converter to operate a PA system that amplifies a microphone, record player, and radio. The engine had stock bore and stroke, but it had been shaved, filled and ported, with Power Glide valves and 8 to 1 compression. Carburetion was handled by twin Strombergs mounted on a McGurk manifold. Mallory dual point ignition was shot through an Ecklund coil.
