Dick Raczuk's 1930 Ford
1930 Ford Model A Coupe owned by Dick Raczuk of Van Nuys, California. In August of 2021, Dick told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama that he got the coupe from a chauffeur who gave it to him in 1955. "I was 16 at the time and built it up living in a trailer court. I was lucky that I lived in the end space that had 2 parking spots. That is where I built the Model C engine with a Riley 2 port and twin Winfield SR’s." The coupe was Dick's first hot rod, and he drove it for two years before he replaced the Model C engine with a bigger 1949 Cadillac V8. "I Drove it from Van Nuys, California to Monterey, California every weekend for 6 months while in the Army. Worked great."[1]
