Taking it to the next level! Tommy Herrera laying out the roof. "We originally planned on chrome tape, but Tommy Herrera stepped it up by doing turned gold leaf." David and Tommy painted the roof in October of 2011, a few days before the 2011 Hot Rod Reunion in Famoso, California. The stripes are 1 inch wide, and Tommy used 1-inch masking tape to get the lines laid down evenly, then pulled up every other row. Photo courtesy of David Ramey.
